Nabaztag on Adobe AIR?

I finally made the decision to buy a Nabaztag! It’s even the second version the NabaztagTag (with the belly button). I was inspired by Aral Balkan, who also bought one. Also inspired by his Bunny Talk widget, so you can see the possibilities of the open API wich Nabaztag provides. But let’s not take this to far, en start from the beginning.What is a Nabaztag. If you didn’t click on the link, i’ll will write a short summary. This is how it looks like:Yes, it looks like a cute little bunny, but it can do a lot more! It can be connected to a wireless internet, so it has a continuous connection to the internet. Now you can make him do stuff on the internet, and thats a lot of fun! He (or she ) can:

• send and receive mp3’s
• send and receive messages (and speaking this messages)
• use a lot of different services like e-mail, weather forecast, rss, receive podcasts
• using his lights to interact with the user
• turn his ears
• voice recognition
• smell ready (not implemented yet?)
• wake you up
• …..and whole lot more

The greatest thing is, that there’s a whole community arround it. Communities who use the API or make new functionalities. Time to show a video!VideoLooks nice huh! Well let’s hope so :). Also take a look at a lot of other movies on Youtube. I hope to get my bunny in a day or 3. So now let’s go back to the title of this blog post.I saw the possibilities of the API, and thought: “Wouldn’t it be nice to have a widget/gadget on your desktop and set all the possibilities of the Nabaztag?” Yes it would! So why don’t make it?That’s the whole idea. I want to make a widget with the new Apollo AIR beta. What about an no chrome window, that shows the bunny widget? What about send messages to other Nabaztags. What about dragging and dropping mp3’s from your filesystem to your friends bunny?
